Laparoscopically Assisted Anorectoplasty Using Perineal Ultrasonographic Guide
نویسنده
چکیده
Methods: The rectourethral prostatic fistula was dissected laparoscopically. Externally, electrostimulation identified the center of the muscle contraction, over which a 1.2 cm of skin incision was made, and the lower part of PTC was created by hemostat forceps guided by electrostimulation. An ultrasonographic probe applied to the perineum demonstrated the urethra, and the forceps was advanced behind the urethra into the pelvic cavity using the ultrasonographic guide. Anorectal pullthrough was performed following dilatation of the PTC with dilators.

Laparoscopic assisted anorectoplasty in children: a prospective study
The development of minimally invasive surgery has probably been the biggest revolution in surgical practice in last two decades, which has gone through a period of rapid development during last 10 years. These minimal access techniques have changed the approach to many surgical procedures; one of such changing procedure is laparoscopically assisted anorectoplasty (LAARP) in children which is re...
متن کاملLaparoscopic surgical technique to facilitate management of high anorectal malformations – report of seven cases
Anorectal malformations (ARMs) occur in approximately 1 per 5000 live births. The most commonly used procedure for repair of high ARMs is posterior sagittal anorectoplasty (PSARP). This operation is performed entirely through a perineal approach. The first report of laparoscopically assisted anorectal pull-through (LAARP) for repair of ARMs was presented by Georgeson in 2000. The aim is present...

Background. The purpose of this study was to compare peri-operative morbidity, preoperative sonographic estimation of uterine weight and postoperative outcomes of women with uterine fibroids larger than 6cm in diameter or uteri estimated to weigh at least 450g, undergoing either vaginal, laparoscopically assisted vaginal or abdominal hysterectomies. Method. Ninety patients who met the criteria ...
متن کاملLaparoscopically Assisted Anorectal Pull-Through versus Posterior Sagittal Anorectoplasty for High and Intermediate Anorectal Malformations: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
OBJECTIVE Anorectal malformations (ARMs) are one of the commonest anomalies in neonates. Both laparoscopically assisted anorectal pull-through (LAARP) and posterior sagittal anorectoplasty (PSARP) can be used for the treatment of ARMs. The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis is to compare these two approaches in terms of intraoperative and postoperative outcomes. METHODS MEDLINE, ...
متن کاملUse of alternative techniques of hysterectomy in Ohio, 1988-1994.
BACKGROUND Laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy has been promoted as a substitute for both abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, with claimed benefits of lower costs, shorter hospital stays, and quicker postoperative recovery. METHODS Using computerized hospital-discharge data for 1988-1994 from 180 hospitals in Ohio, we analyzed rates of abdominal, vaginal, and laparoscopically assis...
